Effective Date: April 30, 2026
This End User License Agreement (this “Agreement”) constitutes a legally binding contract between you, whether an individual or a legal entity (“Licensee” or “You”), and Simon White, trading as Beam Suite (“Licensor,” “We,” or “Us”). This Agreement governs your access to and use of the Beam Suite software application, which facilitates the design of projection systems for simulation, virtual reality, projection mapping etc, and related functionalities (the “Software”). By installing, accessing, or otherwise utilizing the Software, Licensee hereby acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein.
SUMMARY OF KEY POINTS
Before proceeding to the formal legal terms, please review this brief overview of the most important points in this policy:
You are licensing, not buying: We grant you permission to use Beam Suite, but we still own the software itself.
Strict usage limits: You may not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or modify the software code.
You own your designs: Any designs, simulations, or projects you create using Beam Suite belong entirely to you.
Data collection is minimal: We only collect standard operational data necessary to run the software and process payments, fully governed by global privacy laws.
The software is “as is”: While we strive for excellence, we do not provide absolute guarantees regarding uninterrupted operation or error-free performance.
Rule violations end your access: If you violate these terms, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your license to use the software.
- LICENSE GRANT
Subject to Licensee’s strict compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Beam Suite hereby grants to Licensee a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the Software.
The scope and parameters of this license are defined by the following provisions:
Scope of Use: Licensee shall use the Software solely for its intended purpose of designing projection systems for e.g. simulation, virtual reality, projection mapping, or any other medium requiring a large projection system.
License Type: This license is granted for commercial or personal use, contingent upon the specific subscription or purchase tier acquired by the Licensee.
Installation Limits: Licensee is permitted to install and operate the Software on a single primary workstation. The license can be transferred to another PC by using the tools in the Software’s license window.
Territory: This license is granted on a global basis, subject to applicable export control laws and international trade sanctions.

No Redistribution: Licensee shall not distribute, transmit, syndicate, sell, or offer the Software to any third party.
No Sublicensing: Licensee shall not sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the Software, nor use the Software for commercial timesharing or service bureau purposes.
No Modifications: Licensee shall not modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works based upon the Software, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.
If Licensee requires custom modifications or enterprise-level distribution rights, Licensee must negotiate a separate, written enterprise agreement with Beam Suite.
- OWNERSHIP
This Agreement grants a license to use the Software and does not constitute a sale of the Software or any copy thereof.
The allocation of intellectual property rights is established as follows:
Software Ownership: Beam Suite and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all copyrights, patents, trade secrets, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights therein.
User Data Ownership: Licensee shall retain all right, title, and interest in and to any original designs, projection mapping configurations, and simulation data created by Licensee utilizing the Software.
Feedback and Suggestions: Should Licensee provide Beam Suite with any feedback, suggestions, or recommendations regarding the Software, Licensee hereby grants the Licensor a royalty-free license to use such feedback solely for the purposes of improving and developing the Software. The Licensor will not claim ownership of any feedback provided.
To protect your proprietary designs, ensure you regularly save and back up your project files to your local or preferred secure storage environments.
- UPDATES & SUPPORT
Beam Suite is committed to the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the Software, though the provision of such services is subject to specific limitations.
The following terms govern updates and technical assistance:
Update Policies: Beam Suite may, at its sole discretion, provide patches, bug fixes, updates, or enhancements to the Software. Such updates shall be deemed part of the Software and subject to the terms of this Agreement. The User agrees that Beam Suite has no obligation to develop any specific updates.
Support Availability: Technical support is provided for standard business operational issues. Licensee may access support services by directing inquiries to support@beamsuite.xyz.
Backward Compatibility: While Beam Suite shall use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain backward compatibility for projection system designs created in previous versions, such compatibility is not strictly warranted or guaranteed.
To ensure optimal performance and security, Licensee shall promptly install all provided updates upon notification of their availability.
- PRIVACY & DATA
Beam Suite respects the privacy of its users and strictly adheres to global data protection frameworks. We process personal and operational data solely to fulfill our contractual obligations and maintain the functionality of the Software.
Our data processing operations are governed by the following compliance standards:

This Agreement shall remain in full force and effect until terminated by either party in accordance with the provisions set forth herein.
The conditions and effects of termination are as follows:
Automatic Termination: This Agreement, and the license granted hereunder, shall terminate automatically and immediately without notice from Beam Suite if Licensee fails to comply with any provision of this Agreement, particularly the restrictions outlined in Section 2.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, Licensee shall immediately cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies, full or partial, of the Software in Licensee’s possession or control.
Data After Termination: Termination of this Agreement shall not affect Licensee’s ownership of their independently created projection designs. However, access to the Software required to open or modify such proprietary files will be revoked. Where termination is initiated by the Licensor without cause, the Licensor will use reasonable efforts to provide Licensee with an export of their project data in a readable format prior to access being revoked, or reasonable advance notice to allow Licensee to do so themselves.
To voluntarily terminate this license, Licensee must uninstall the Software from all devices and notify us at support@beamsuite.xyz to deactivate the associated license key.
- WARRANTIES & DISCLAIMERS
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Software is provided to Licensee strictly on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, with all faults and without warranty of any kind.
Licensee acknowledges and agrees to the following disclaimers and limitations:
